Privacy Policy

Hokm doesn’t collect your personal information. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and we don’t run any servers your games pass through.

What stays on your device

Hokm saves a few things on your iPhone or iPad so it opens the way you left it:

• the name you enter when you first open the app
• your record, such as games and hands played and won
• your settings, such as language and look
• a game in progress, so you can pick it up later

We can’t see any of this. Deleting the app deletes it. Like other app data, it can be included in your device backups, depending on your backup settings.

Playing against the computer

Games against the computer run entirely on your device and work without an internet connection.

Playing with other people

Quick matches and games with friends use Apple’s Game Center, which connects the players and carries the game between their devices. During an online game, the other players’ devices receive:

• the name you entered
• an identifier from Game Center, which keeps everyone in the right seat
• your moves and any reactions you send at the table

We don’t receive or store any of it. Game Center is run by Apple and covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy. You can manage your Game Center profile and friends in the Settings app.

Children

Hokm is suitable for all ages. We don’t collect personal information from anyone, including children. Parents can manage Game Center for their children through Screen Time.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
